Rossland - Canada's Alpine City

Unique Rossland, situated at over 1000 meters above sea level, (about 3500 ft) is serviced by the recently refurbished & expanding Red Resort Mountain, an exciting ski hill just 3 minutes from town.  There’s also mountain biking, hiking & fishing in nearby lakes; Rossland is an outdoor person’s paradise, with every different level of challenge supplied.

A funky main drag downtown welcomes travelers along Highway 3.  Big box shopping can be found a short drive downhill in adjacent Trail.  If you’ve done enough shopping for the day & wish to swing the clubs instead, Redstone Alpine Golf Resort is right at your doorstep.

Rossland's population is about 3500, give-or-take, depending on the season.  With skiing, golf & cycling at your doorstep, the town is a thrillseeker's playground.  With trails such as the 7 Summits Trail, Rossland has been titled 'The Mountain Bike Capital of BC'.

Having one of Canada’s most successful gold mines in 1897, Rossland has a storied history.  It also has a bright future.  The town is now known as a recreation mecca, with small-town appeal that leaves both residents & visitors glad they’ve spent time in the place.  One thing’s likely; if you’ve discovered Rossland, chances are you’re glad you did.
