Grand Forks - Boundary Jewel

Arriving into Grand Forks along Highway 3 is a welcome sight to behold.  A charming community with heritage housing & shopping amenities, Grand Forks is a satisfying place to visit.  Fishing, camping & water sports are easy to come by in the nearby lakes & rivers.  The Phoenix Ski Hill, just 30km outside of town by Greenwood, offers snow-time thrills & spills.

Study the Doukabor Russian heritage in the area at the Boundary Museum, or explore the abandoned rail lines leading to past mining sites.  If artistic matters pique your interest, the Grand Forks Art Gallery is the place to visit.  Eastward down the road are the relaxing beaches & summertime style of Christina Lake & the Christina Lake Golf Club

Located about 500 kilometers from Vancouver, this Boundary region town of 5,000 is a wonderful place to lay down roots.  Situated at the confluence of the Granby & Kettle Rivers, Grand Forks is a welcoming spot.

With an indoor aquatic centre, local tennis courts & friendly community lifestyle, it’s hard not to be enamored by Grand Forks.  Admire the flower baskets which hang from the lampposts, have a relaxing cup of coffee & get a feel for the easy swing of things in town.  You may be glad you did.
